As a fellow teacher, I want to extend a hardy thanks to all of you who strive to impart knowledge to others. Whether you are an elementary teacher or college professor, thank you for helping others learn. Here’s a few quotes of encouragement.

“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” —Henry Ford

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” —Albert Einstein

“Anyone who does anything to help a child in his life is a hero to me.” —Fred Rogers (a.k.a. Mr. Rogers from Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood)

“The great teacher is not the man who supplies the most facts, but the one in whose presence we become different people.” —Ralph Waldo Emerson

“A word of encouragement from a teacher to a child can change a life. A word of encouragement from a spouse can save a marriage. A word of encouragement from a leader can inspire a person to reach her potential.” —John C. Maxwell

“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6 NASB)
