A Quick Thought

Sometimes you just have a bad day. Every morning you wake up with hope that today will be a good day, but some days seem bound and determined to be bad.

So what can you do about it?

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” (‭James‬ ‭1:2-4‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

You can choose to see the lesson and allow your faith in Him to blossom and flourish or you can resolve to be miserable for the next 24 hours. It’s never easy, but keeping our eyes on Jesus can make the road less miserable.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.
