A Quick Thought…

Sometimes we say and/or do things before considering all the consequences. Though we may not mean to, our words and acts can become stumbling blocks to others. As a Christian, one of the greatest shames and what keeps me awake at night is the thought of causing anyone to stumble in their faith or doubt the goodness and love of Jesus Christ.

“Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.” (‭‭Colossians‬ ‭4:5-6‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

  1. This quick though is confirmation on the online talk show that was recorded last night associated with my church. I am now a host on that show and the topic was What are we creating with our words. Words can cut or cultivate. Especially as believers we can afford to have an unruly tongue if we expect to remain in God’s favor. I’m not 100% there but working on this daily. I think running across your post was the Holy Spirit’s way of providing yet another gentle reminder. I hear you Lord…😇
