A Quick Thought…

Open to Interpretation…

There is much talk (and always us been) that certain parts of scripture is outdated, or that it means something other than what the words clearly state (verbatim), or the post-modernist view that the Bible is completely up to individual interpretation. For those who ascribe to such, consider the following:

“But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”(‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:20-21‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

It’s God’s book. Stop telling Him what He really means. Just something to chew on.
